About the Vaccine Resource Hub
Vaccines save lives and can prevent or reduce the severity of many infectious diseases and their consequences. However, adult vaccination coverage remains low nationally and significant racial and ethnic disparities exist, leaving thousands of Americans unprotected.
Ensuring that all communities have equitable access to accurate information and vaccines is essential.
The Mission
Under the extensive Partnering for Vaccine Equity program, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is providing funding and support to national, state, local and community-level partners, who are prioritizing equity in vaccination access among those groups experiencing disparities in immunization—including racial and ethnic minority groups, individuals living with disabilities, rural communities, older adults, individuals with chronic conditions, and more. This Vaccine Resource Hub is part of that effort.
What the Vaccine Resource Hub Provides
This Vaccine Resource Hub has been developed to support individuals and organizations working to increase adult immunization across all communities, especially those experiencing disparities.
The site provides access to diverse, culturally relevant and accurate materials that community-based organizations (CBOs) and the public can use to educate and inform their community about vaccines. Resources include infographics, toolkits, videos, unbranded digital assets, messaging, and other helpful resources.
All materials hosted on the Hub have been assessed for accuracy and relevance, and they are free and available for download and sharing by the public.
About the Learning Community
The Partnering for Vaccine Equity Learning Community is made up of over 500 CDC-funded organizations working to address disparities in vaccination by improving vaccine confidence and access. These groups include state, county and local health departments, medical associations, national foundations, and community-based organizations (CBOs). They have access to technical assistance, group and peer-to-peer learning opportunities, as well as the outreach materials and communication tools provided on this Vaccine Resource Hub.
