Factsheet describes eligibility, effectiveness, and recommended timing for vaccines that are expected to be available for fall 2023. The factsheet covers the annual flu vaccine, updated COVID-19 vaccines, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccines for older adults and pregnant people, as well as an antibody-based immunization against RSV for infants. Note: As of August 21, 2023, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved an RSV vaccine for pregnant people for use at 32 through 36 weeks of pregnancy.
