Toolkit: COVID-19 Educational Resources for Ukrainian New Arrivals (English, Ukrainian, Russian)
National Resource Center for Refugees, Immigrants, and Migrants (NRC-RIM)
Toolkit from NRC-RIM in partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) provides educational resources on COVID-19 for Ukrainian new arrivals ready to talk about COVID-19 vaccines, and community-based organizations supporting Ukrainian new arrivals. Up to 100,000 Ukrainian refugees will resettle in the United States. Many of those resettled will depend on resources provided by sponsors, refugee resettlement agencies, and local governments. The toolkit includes educational videos on topics such as COVID-19 testing, how to keep children safe, and how the pandemic has led to the rise of variants in the United States. Educational factsheets with guidance on the various COVID-19 vaccines and webinars for community-based organizations on fostering vaccine confidence and providing psychological first aid (PFA) are also available.
