Video: Five Strategies to Strengthen Vaccine Recommendations (2:40)

Video encourages health care providers to recommend flu vaccination to their patients. Almost half of patients unsure or not planning to get a flu vaccine would be more likely to do so if the vaccine was recommended by their health care provider. Five strategies for how to talk to patients are provided: share tailored reasons why the vaccine is being recommended, highlight positive experiences, address patient concerns, remind patients of benefits, and explain potential risks and costs.
