Friends of Refugees partnered with Ethne Health for a “Lunch & Learn” event for women in the Afghan community to learn more about the COVID-19 vaccine. Over 30 women attended and said they felt safe and comfortable asking questions. Friends of Refugees Community Engagement Manager Muzhda Oriakhil helped bring this group together and brought her own nursing baby to show other mothers in attendance how safe the vaccine is for nursing women.
